Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun made their comeback on SBS TV’s “Inkigayo” on May 6th. For their comeback, the girls performed “Twinkle” and “Baby Steps”. For the “Baby Steps” performance, the girls wore slightly toned down outfits to reflect the song’s more understated sound. They performed the song with fantastic singing, accompanied by backup dancers around them. They then took the stage for “Twinkle”, wearing black and white outfits with a dash of pink to add color. At the start of the song, they were accompanied by photographers to reflect the theme of the music video, and the rest of the song was performed showcasing the girls’ vocals as well as their strong stage presence. As with Girls’ Generation performances lately, fans took to Twitter in support of them and trended “#SONEsloveTTS” first worldwide. Even titles from YouTube videos, “120506 Inkigayo TTS – Interview Cut” and “120506 TTS – Baby Step”, trended worldwide as fans rushed to rewatch the performances

Girls’ Generation will be performing alongside other artists at the Google Headquarters, located in San Jose, California. The group will perform at an employee-only event on May 21st at 6PM PST with TVXQ, Super Junior, KARA, SISTAR, MBLAQ, BEAST, and the Wonder Girls. This will be the first time a K-Pop concert of this scale will be held in the Bay Area. The concert will also be the first ever K-Pop event to be broadcast by Google, alongside Korean network, MBC. Regarding the concert, a staff member said, “The interest in local concert holders has increased with word of Korean singers performing at Google headquarters. Korean singers’ concerts were usually at the focus of resident Koreans, but this Google concert will have local American pop fans. This will prove that Korean artists’ concerts don’t only appeal to Korean fans, but to global fans. We are predicting that through this concert, the demand for Korean singers’ concerts in the US will increase greatly.” Meanwhile, the day before the concert at Google, SM artists will be holding the SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR III concert at the Honda Center in the Los Angeles area on May 20th.
